Overture

Ahoy, 

Food is an experience to share while taste is your asset to keep. You own it until you find a more appetizing meal which barters the former experience. Its not only the quality and taste which matters, ambiance and quality play a pivotal role in mesmerizing the taste buds, and of course the more (quantity) the merrier.

I have always been a foodie but also being a student means limited time, limited cash and of-course a finger liking good food. I have now explored every part of Delhi which i feel is exploring 5 % of the whole Delhi. But yes this brings me to a mammoth list of all-time favorites and some state-of art High Class restaurants, serving exotic, authentic as well as cross culture cuisine. I Italian cafes and the Chinese 'van-wala; share the equal respect with the well established restaurants. Delhi doesn't eat on pocket size, small vendors have accomplished a clientele of most posh crowd of Delhi.

Delhi has been famous for its street food, not forgetting the ever scintillating "Chandini Chowk" and other areas around it. But guess what that was the Old Delhi , and we now live in New Delhi, which is 79 year old, inaugurated on 13 February 1931. So with so much 'new" since the old times, its an irony that we never transcend from our own local favorites.  So its time we explore every part of the NCR the larger picture of Delhi. 

Today the NCR, has one of the best Fine-Dine restaurants,  classy café and mouth watering street food. There has been a trend of Hookah Parlors as well, with small scale eating joints turning up to be famous food junctures. I might not be the perfect guide here. But i m sure my experience will really help you to choose the best from where ever you go. .... 

So lets just get started.!

Time honored tradition,
dedicated for human pleasure,
delivering music in its consumption,
arousing sense of taste.

In a mixture of spices,
the sweet blending,
simmering treasure of innovation,
sparkling liquor of interaction,
the notes come together
in a meal of perfection.
